UMM Lecturer got Title of 2019 LLDIKTI Achievement Lecturer

Lecturer at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) Dr. Ihyaul Ulum, SE., M.Si., Ak., CA achieved the 1st Achieving Lecturer, the result of the selection of Higher Education Service Institution (LLDIKTI) VII Region in 2019. The decision was based on the Decree of the Head of LLDIKTI Region VII Number: 12 / L7 / SK / 2019 on July 2, 2019. Ulum achieved an Outstanding Lecturer in the Social Humanities category.

The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) lecturer succeeded to defeat twenty lecturers private university at the level of LLDIKTI Region VII. Raihan Ulum repeated the achievement achieved by his predecessor Djoko Sigit Sayogo, S.E., M. ACC., Ph.D. Djoko was not only at the level of LLDIKTI Region VII but also achieved the 1st Achieving Lecturer at the national level in 2018, defeating IPB and ITB.

About five years, Dr. Ihyaul Ulum was often in the world of intellectual capital. Even though, he made a size model of intellectual capital (IC). The finding of this formula was named Modified Value Added Intellectual Coefficient (MVAIC). The function was to measure the performance of organizations that had intellectual capital. "Because of all this time (intellectual capital, red.) Is not measurable," he said.

The thinking result was being published in one of the international journals in the United States (US). MVAIC had also registered Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) to the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenkumham). Even though, he admitted, the MVAIC model had been used more for researchers in Hong Kong, America, Australia, and London.

Not only initiated the MVAIC formula, In 2016, Ulum also published a book entitled "Intellectual Capital: Measurement Model, Disclosure Framework & Organizational Performance". "This book was arranged with the enthusiasm to Indonesian issue about IC," he said. Internationally, Ulum added, studies of ICs had begun to develop since the late 1990s included in Indonesia.

Ulum admitted that he believed can repeat the success in international event. ”continuing to struggle to make university proud not only from students, all academics are also expected to participate making the white campus proud and hopefully this year UMM lecturers are able to be outstanding lecturers in national level like the previous year” said Ulum, Met Friday (12/7).(Win)
