Dozens of books, some of which were the result of research collaboration between the Faculty of Islamic Studies at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) and the Research and Development Agency and the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia, were exhibited on Tuesday (6/25). Various religious-themed books were exhibited in Dissemination and Exhibition of Research Results Books about evaluating religious Department at Islamic religious colleges.
"This collaboration is very important in gaining new thinking and this is good luck for the UMM academic community. In the future, cooperation with the Research Centre is not only limited to this, maybe there will be some other collaborations such as research and exhibitions, or other dissemination, "Said the Dean of the UMM Islamic Faculty, Prof. Dr. Tobroni, M.Si.
Six participants were the work units of the Research and Development Agency which was three from the centre and three from the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT). They were Research and Development Centre for Religion and Religious Services, Research Centre for Religion and Religious Education, Research Centre for Literature and Religious Management and Organizational Management, Semarang Religious Research and Development Centre, Jakarta Religious Research Institute and Makassar Religious Research Institute.

"The products of our research are socialized to academics so that they can be used as a reference for their education here," said Taufik Budi Sutrisno as Head of Sub Division of Administration of Research and Development of Literature, Religious Affairs and Organizational Management of Research and Development Services, Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia in his presentation at before the academic community of the Faculty of Islamic Studies UMM.
"In the future, these activities will be held in areas that have many religious colleges. Because our research bazaar is mostly in religious research, so it is right to be held in an area that has many religious colleges. We will also store it in various libraries so that all elements of the community can be used, "he said in free of the program.
In addition, the agenda was attended by representatives of institutions involved in the research. They were Prof. Dr. Amsal Bakhtiar, MA as Head of the Indonesian Education and Religious Research Centre, Dr. Hayadin, S.Ag., M.Pd, as Researcher of Research and Development Centre and Dr. Khozin, M.Sc as a Lecturer at the Islamic Faculty of UMM and also as a series of UMM academic community members. The program was moderated by Nafik Muthohirin who was a lecturer at the UMM Islamic Faculty.

In his presentation, Prof. Amsal tell relates the historical transformation of the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) to be a State Islamic University (UIN). This transformation process was running with the increasingly widespread Islamic Universities in Indonesia. "The university is universal or totally different from the Institute because the institute is only one field," he explained.
Not only that, Prof. Amsal, who is a professor of Islamic Philosophy at UIN Jakarta, also revealed that this kind of activity really needs to be disseminated or spread to the public.
