Holding an Instructor Training and Competency Test, UMM was Ready to Establish a Job Training Institute

Facilitated by the National Professional Certification Board (BNSP) and the Job Training Institute of the Merdeka University of Malang (LPK-Unmer), Muhamadiyah University of Malang (UMM) held a Training and Instructor Competency Test at Campus III UMM.
The event which was attended by 40 educators at UMM was carried out for three days, starting from Friday-Sunday (10-13 / 20). According to Dr. Praptining Sukowati, SH., M.Si., as the chairperson of LPK-Unmer stated, the Professional Certification Institute (LSP) of UMM had become a competent barometer of labour.
If the teaching staff from UMM succeeded in getting instructor certification, in addition to the LSP which had already been established, UMM would be ready to establish its own Job Training Institute (LPK). There were 500 choices of technical competency qualifications that could be taken by participants.
In his speech, Vice-Rector III for Student Affairs Dr. Sidiq Sunaryo, SH., M.Si, M.Hum., Appealed to prospective instructors so that UMM graduates had a lot of competencies. "A lot of competence and verified will be able to expand opportunities in the professional field, both professions that are in line with the departments taken while at UMM or outside the department," he said.
As was often the case, continued Sidiq, many S1 level graduates who got jobs were not linear with the education being taken. With this instructor competency test, it was expected that the competency of professional assistance would be in accordance with the reality in the community.
"A lot of competencies will be learned during this event. It is starting from the procedures for financial management, making accountability reports, monitoring evaluations that will later be needed for the benefit of the nation, "added Sidiq.
The instructor who was also the speaker, Juli Suprianta in his material said that internal and external factors could influence the learning and teaching process. "Students who depart from different backgrounds must be handled with varied learning methods as well, a comfortable learning environment is also a factor of the success of educators in Indonesia," he said.
