The name of University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) not only famous in Malang, but also in every part of the country. Priambudi Kesuma Ramadhani is one the first batch of New Student Admission (PMB) selection participants from the city originating from the Mutiara Hitam Jayapura team, Papua Province.
“I went to UMM because of the recommendation from the teacher at my school.In fact, my parents also recommend UMM, so I tried to register and take the test and my choice fell to this campus Faculty of Medicine,” said Priambudi Kesuma Ramadhani.
Moreover, Imaliyah Kurnia Tiara Wati from Nabire also have a similar story. “I went to UMM because of the recommendation from the teacher at my school.My parents also supporting me to go here. Not just that, in my hometown we have alumni who came from this campus,” said Nia who also took the Medical Study Program (Prodi).

Not just that, Ismaliyah's parents also shared some stories about his journey in accompanying her daughter."I came here because I followed the wishes and aspirations of my daughter who really wanted to study at UMM.Besides this campus already has a name in my place," Mrakih said while accompanying his daughter after the selection test.
Mrakih continued, that he alreadyoffered his daughter to choose campuses spread across various cities on Java."I have offered from Semarang, Jogja, Solo, and Cendrawasih University in Jayapura.But he is still keen to choose here," he said.

In this first batch test, the Faculty of Medicine is still the most favorable Faculty of the examinees.Around 850 participants chose the Medical Study Program. In fact, to anticipate a fraud, UMM deployed assistance officers from the police and internal security to avoid the practice of jockeying.
After accepting thenew prospective students from the achievement selection and 1stbatch, UMM will again hold the second batch ofregular selection test registration from May 9 to July 10.
