The Closing Ceremony of the Community Service Program Group 84 in Kedungsalam, Donomulyo, Malang Regency was rousing with fireworks, Wednesday (8/15). This activity coincided with a celebration ahead of the 74th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia.
KKN 84 collaborated with UMM Mobile Cinema (Bioling) in the screening of the film "Cek Toko Sebelah" directed by Ernest Prakasa. By showing a comedy family film, the residents were enthusiastic. This was proven from the sold-out 500 tickets.
"This is a report and a closing in our dedication to the village of Kedungsalam for a month. We serve the Fireworks Festival and watch together to provide entertainment to the Kedungsalam community, "said Dana Sulistya, village coordinator for Group 84.
This activity was presented to give the impression of a separation that felt close to the residents of Kedungsalam Village. Every citizen who attended was given fireworks and torches which were ignited together as a symbol of the return of KKN 84 students. There were many residents who felt the sadness of this service.
"The community service of the UMM KKN students has ended. Hopefully, it does not end also the relationship with the citizens. Hopefully, they will be given an easiness in the process of studying at the university, "said Suprianto as the Person in Charge of the Head of Kedungsalam Village when giving a speech.
The Fireworks Festival event was closed with a door prize announcement for the residents who came with various attractive prizes such as refrigerators, fans, and various other prizes. UMM Bioling itself will present every week to provide entertainment to the public in the form of watching together. (Win)
