With the presence of the Barongan Bumiaji Market was hope to be used as a tourism promotion tool and displayed natural and cultural wealth, "said Chief Executive, M. Lutfi Kurniawan.
Barongan Market activities, explained Lutfi, were in the form of a cultural market along the bottom of bamboo trees. The event will be accompanied by strains of gamelan music. In addition, there were also trade stalls managed by local residents. The product which was sold was from the processed culinary specialities that sell food, traditional drinks, plantation products, regional specialities, and cultural performances such as Bantengan.
"Besides introducing the Barongan Bumiaji Market to the public and outside tourists, this event also aims to create awareness to preserve the potential that exists in Bumiaji Village. In addition, various events that we hold also accommodate and show the potential of the residents of Bumiaji Village. One of them is through Pasar Barongan, "he said, interviewed on Tuesday (6/18).

Previously, on June 11-14, a pre-event titled Resik Barongan was held. This agenda was a cleaning activity in some areas that will be used as the Barongan Market. The clean-up was carried out with the Sadar Wisata group, Karang Taruna, and the Bumiaji Tourism Team. On June 15, also held the Uklam Tahes Bareng Bumiaji, which was a healthy walking activity that was followed by Bumiaji residents. (Win)
