Muhammadiyah Elder who was also a Member of the Advisory Council of the President of the Republic of Indonesia for the period 2014-2019, Prof. Dr. H. A. Malik then left a number of messages for the Congress. The first was fatsun or ethics during the conference which had to be maintained. Second, contemporary issues had to always be discussed. For example, domestic issues such as environmental problems, Muhammadiyah also had to care. The third was to encourage literacy movements.

Malik, who was also the Chairperson of the UMM Daily Board of Trustees (BPH), reiterated that this Congress 48th should be a barometer of Muhammadiyah to take part in the future. "Make this Conference as a place to look forward and step to bring the Sang Surya as sung. Indonesia Raya with Sang Surya is almost similar in spirit. Indonesia Raya is for developing Indonesia, while Sang Surya is for moving Muhammadiyah, "said Malik. (win)
