A week after the University of Muhammadiyah Malang 92th graduation ceremony 2nd Period that inaugurate 1.270 bachelors, UMM Job Fair event was held again. Participated by 50 companies that open stands of job vacancy. The event lasts for two days (2-3/5) in BAU UMM Auditorium.
This Job Fair event was supported by Manpower Agency, Special Job Fair (BKK), UMM Student Affairs and Alumni Association and PT. Sin A Sixfifteen. As the event started, this event will be a link for the graduated students and has taken a Career and Entrepreneurship Course (KWU) to get a job.
With a Mechanical Engineering Department as the background, one of the fresh graduates of the National Institute of Technology (ITN) tried his luck in the event. “I applied myself in two different companies. One of them is in PT. Supra Aluminum Industry,” said Sastra Bima Yoga.

At least, for about 1.423 registrants were registered until closed registration, and several companies that spreading around Malang such as PT Indonusa Telemedia (Transvision), PT Smartfren Telecom, Tbk., PT PNM (Persero) Malang Branch, PT Zurich Topas Life, until PT MNC Sky Vision, Tbk.
One of the Microfinance Institutions Company, PT. Bina Artha Ventura took part in opening a stand. “As a financial service, we hope this Job Fair can reduce the number of unemployment. It is because UMM always organizes a Job Fair after the graduation,” said Hikmah Tsurayya as the HRD.
“We hope that this event can ease the alumni and from outside the campus in looking for a job. We hope in the future, many agencies and even companies participate in the event. So that UMM Job Fair can be a place for a Job Seeker,” said Muhammad Imansyah, Assistant Chief Executive. (joh)
