Children today tended to behave more than their age. This was caused by various factors like television shows that do not educate, or neglect of parents when children access the internet. Drama is judged by a number of people to be one of the effective learning media to grow character.

"Submission of moral messages in the drama is delivered subtly because children need to be exemplified to be more understanding, "explained Aldhina Ramadhani, The chairman of the Children's Drama performance entitled" Building Nation Character through Children's Literature ". Held by the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM).

Dhina and her friends hoped that children can grow and develop according to the ideal stage. "Children must grow naturally, not precocious and also to be a good person who can build the nation in the future, "he said during the event (29/6).

The practice exam for students in the fourth semester of PGSD Department aimed to build children's character. "The material in the class is less, so needs a direct application," explained Arina Restian, S. Pd., M. Pd., Secretary of the PGSD Department.
