The tourism places had been available in various places. Visiting the fall to vehicle extreme games may be familiar but gardening might be a unique alternative. Besides being able to learn to grow crops, it could also learn to keep and care for the earth.
Agribusiness Department Faculty of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry (FPP) University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) had Healthy Vegetable Tourism. Managed under the auspices of the Agribusiness Corner, Healthy Vegetable Tourism could be visited on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays by the academic and general community.
The visitors could feel the sensation of harvesting various vegetables. They were mustard meats, okra, eggplant, green broccoli and long beans. "Don't worry, we will teach you how to pick it," said Ary Bakhtiar, SP. MSi, Chair of Corner Agribusiness. The cool atmosphere of the field added to the fun of gardening activities.

After picking, vegetables would be weighed and packaged nicely to take home. Besides picking activity, visitors could also choose vegetables that have been packaged. "The price is very affordable," explained Ary. The tour, which was established last month since the end of August, would also teach visitors how to care for vegetable crops.
About a month, many tourists from outside the city of Malang had visited. Some of them were visitors who were doing comparative studies to UMM. "It can be good if they do the tour to Healthy Vegetables," said Ary.

Ary did not manage this Healthy Vegetable Tour alone. He was assisted by Agribusiness Department students for treatment. According to him, students needed real practice. Therefore, many opportunities were given to students.
For this man born in Banyuwangi, Agribusiness students were lacking if only learnt to market agricultural products. This Healthy Vegetable Tour became an applied laboratory for UMM students to practice. (win)
