The spirit of implementing the curriculum 2013 got a rave and new enthusiasm with the implementation of the Lesson Study for Learning Community (LSLC) Assistance Program by the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) to several junior high schools in Malang. Through the program, 68 biggest junior high schools in 8 Zones (Padang, Bengkulu, Bogor, Jogja, Gresik, Malang, Kediri and Lombok) would begin workshops, open plans, open classes and reflection on learning starting in November 2019.
The spirit of promoting Lesson Study (LS) which had developed into Lesson Study for Learning Community was driven by the government's desire to develop a culture of learning independently of both teachers and students. "Meanwhile, the growth and development of an independent learning culture is the character and competence needed to navigate and win life in the increasingly disruptive 21st century," said Drs.
