VIVAnews - Swedish Prime Minister, Fredrik Reinfeldt, not only today met with President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Indonesian officials in the central government. He also took time to meet the new governor of Jakarta, Joko Widodo.
PM Reinfeldt will meet Jokowi this afternoon at the National Monument. "This afternoon he will visit the National Palace to meet with President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to discuss bilateral cooperation. Following that afternoon, Mr. Prime Minister will visit the monument to meet with the governor," said Daniel Johansson, Deputy Ambassador of Sweden when contacted VIVAnews Wednesday, November 14, 2012.
PM Reinfeldt has arrived in Jakarta on Tuesday night for a two-day working visit. He was accompanied by Minister for Trade Ewa Bjorling and entourage Swedish businessmen who are interested in opening a new business or expand their investment in Indonesia.
Johansson revealed that Jokowi PM Reinfeldt will be invited to see the view from the top of Monas Jakarta. "The prime minister of the monument will also be the opportunity to see the sights of the Istiqlal Mosque and Cathedral Church, located nearby," said Johansson.
He also revealed that Prime Minister Reinfeldt and Governor Jokowi not only welcoming and see the monument. They also had the opportunity to discuss the challenges faced by Jakarta and the possibility of cooperation between Sweden and the city administration to resume construction in the capital.
