TERROR ATTACK that happened last time in Christchurch, New Zealand interferes the harmonization of religion diversity in the world. This attack that killed about fifty people were on behalf of white race supremacy, also as revenge of terror tragedy by Muslim people.
Even though, according to the survey resulted by Global Peace Index 2017, New Zealand referred as the second most peaceful country in the world. This rating was based on the assessment of security conditions, human rights (HAM) protection, environmental politeness, and criminal practice.
Responding to this, Nafik Muthohirin, lecturer of Faculty of Islamic Religion (FAI) University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) explains, there is terminology that said Islam is violence. Even though Islam is a way of salvation. “So, It is impossible that Islam is teaching about violence and terrorism,” he said.

The attack caused by Brenton Tarrant is certainly shocked the world. This attack is not necessarily made Muslims in New Zealand scared. A week after the terror, the society is going to the mosque together, even azan was massively on the air in several TV stations.
“It shows that the society in New Zealand has high knowledge and tolerance by doing an action, wearing hijab, as their empathy. They were also can differentiate which one is terrorism and not, and they know that Islam is a peaceful religion,” he saidThursday (27/3).
Islam teaches calmness, peace, tolerance, and universal value that every religion believe that. “But, there are many certain parties politicize or justify religious arguments or Islamic proposition in particular, for certain purposes,” said this research director of Islamic Study Center and Multiculturalism (PUSAM) UMM.

That was caused by Islamophobia which was happened in the western country. Islam as stated in surah Al-Hujarat verse 13,O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the noblest of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted. This is the multiculturalism concept in Islam.
There are many acts of violence using religion as their background, called Nafik, at least caused by two dominant factors. Which the first, as he said, a religion populism practical that presence in public, and added by hatred tone towards a certain religion, race, and tribe.
