Dreams must be fought to the last drop of blood. Including having to be willing to sacrifice some things to reach the dream. That is the principle held by Galang Bimandra. The Electrical Engineering student of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) and was one of the actors behind various awards won by his team at LSO Mechatronic UMM.

Acquiring the first position or first place in the national Urban Electric Class was taken by his team during KMHE Padang in 2018 ago. Not satisfied in the national class, the student who was born in Malang on March 18, 1998, won 6th place in the 2019 Asia Electric Shell Marathon Urban Electric Class held in Malaysia.

"Honestly, since I compete in every competition I have never slept in 8 hours," he said. For Galang, sleeping 5-6 hours is enough. Reducing sleep hours according to him is a form of sincerity to achieve something. In addition, it does require more sacrifice in every struggle.

Considering the cars that Mekatronic worked on were electric cars, Galang occupied a very core position, namely the Chair of the Electrical Division. He and his division members are fully responsible for all matters related to electricity. Starting from the controller until the headlights of the car.

"It takes a long time for me and the team to explore and process just for one element," he explained. The preparations made by Galang and his team for the competition in the following year are always maximal. It is proven by the evaluation, design, and execution which done in less than two weeks after the competition.
