5000 Elementary School Students Are Ready to Participate in the Islamic Child's Appreciation Event at UMM

AFTER holding many religious-themed activities, now University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) is ready to hold activities of Islamic Child's appreciation on Thursday (07/12) at Hall UMM Dome.
The agenda was initiated by Robithoh Alamiyah Li Ta'lim wa Da'wah, an organization affiliated with the Saudi Arabian Embassy. Both of them directly pointed UMM as the representative of Indonesia to jointly held worship activity of elementary school children.
"This activity is held as a form of appreciation to the children who have studied the prayers and other worship," said Abdul Haris as director of the activities.
This event will take several competitions, including storytelling competition, tartile qur'an competition, and hafidz qur'an. To date, approximately 5000 students from all over Malang and East Java will attend the event.
"Until right now, the participants who have enrolled are approximately 5000 students from various schools in Malang Raya and also outside Malang such as Nganjuk," said Needle, the chief executor of these activities.
This activity is an honor for UMM because the organization has carried out similar activities in several Middle Eastern countries. (ard)
