STUDENTS of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) made another achievement. This time it was Ana Fauzia, a student of the UMM Law Faculty which managed to beat delegates from other State and Private Universities in the National Achievement Student Ambassador Selection event. The selection of National Achievement Student Ambassadors is a prestigious event organized by The Platinum Skills Indonesia and attended by 107 universities throughout Indonesia.
The final agenda and awarding for the National Outstanding Student Ambassador Selection were held at the Ayola Tasneem Conventional Hotel, Yogyakarta (29-31 October 2020). Participants who were following were only finalists who represented their respective provinces. Ana succeeded in representing East Java Province after previously participating in the regional selection and going through several stages of the competition. In the final round, Ana managed to beat the top 3 delegates from the Province of Bali and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).
Previously, during the semifinal stage, all participants were asked to offer work programs that would later carry out when selected as outstanding student ambassadors. Ana has a proposed work program in the form of socialization of work visits. "The socialization of this work visit is like visiting an institution and then listening to directions and knowledge there. The mentor is a work program plan that I made taken from legal practitioners, "said the 2018 class student.

During his study at the UMM White Campus, Ana had won many competitions. Mainly the national debate competition. For example, Ana won 1st place in the Manufair National Economic Debate held by the University of Jember in 2019, Participant of Fully Funded Program by Student Malaysia-Singapore 2020, Best Honorable Mentions Delegate Bali International Model United Nations 2020 by Little Circle Foundations, as well as various other competitions in National level.
"Alhamdulillah, I am very grateful. My insights from studying and organizing on campus helped me in answering the questions of the jury. Alhamdulillah, I won first place," said the student from Pasuruan, East Java. After winning, Ana had an obligation to run the program she proposed in this event organized by the course and training institute under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia.
