A person infected with COPD will experience several additional disorders apart from the main symptom of coughing. These include depression, unstable vital signs, and many more. However, one disorder, such as sleep disturbance, is often forgotten to be treated by healthcare workers because they think that sleep disturbance is a trivial thing.
"In fact, in improving the health and quality of life, humans need enough sleep. Therefore, I brought up this essay to make people aware of the importance of sleep in improving the quality of life of COPD patients," she explained.
Moreover, she also said that the output of her essay would be developing the research stage. Mainly to find out how to create the best sleep quality for people with COPD. As well as a suggestion not to underestimate the impact of sleep quality on improving quality of life.
Gendhis also expressed his gratitude to UMM for giving full support to her. Whether in terms of facilities or guidance that makes her get better ideas and concepts. "There was a lot of support from UMM, especially related to discussions from lecturers who have high competence. They guide, direct, and become a facilitator for me in participating in various competitions," she added.
