Born amidst an increasingly digital era, the alpha generation born in the 2010s to 2020s has its own characteristics from other generations. One of them is their life which is integrated with technology such as smartphones, tablets, and the internet. This makes this generation have various uniqueness including in the way they learn.
Dian Fitri Nur Aini, M.Pd., lecturer in Elementary School Teacher Education at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), said that the Alpha generation is quick to adapt to technology. "They are more comfortable learning with technological support such as e-books and e-quizzes, compared to the usual learning methods," she said.
According to these characteristics, the role of teachers in the alpha generation has also changed. Teachers are no longer just the main source of knowledge, but also a learning facilitator who integrates technology with fun physical activities. Thus, creating a more interesting and varied learning environment.

"Technology-based educational games are the key to effective learning methods for the Alpha generation. Such as the Kahoot!, Quizizz, and Wordwall applications that can be used as learning media, as well as interactive evaluation instruments," she said.
Not only the user, but the alpha generation should also develop individual skills such as technical skills. Mastering digital tools and software relevant to their environment. In addition, the ability to think conceptually is also very important. This includes thinking creatively, designing solutions to complex problems, and integrating information from multiple sources.
"Similarly, interpersonal skills are an important foundation for their future success. The alpha generation also needs to learn to communicate effectively, work together in teams, and build good relationships with others. Collaboration skills can also be trained through project-based learning. This not only helps them hone their critical thinking skills but also improves their ability to solve complex problems."

Despite the increasingly important role of technology in the era of the alpha generation, restrictions on the use of gadgets also need to be considered. Especially in things that do not contain academic elements. For example, games and social media often lead to various problems.
Without the appropriate use of technology, there will be various adverse effects. These include changes in social interaction patterns, dependence on technology, individualism in learning that can reduce collaboration skills, and a decrease in learning focus due to distractions from gadget entertainment.
