Bekraf RI Is Ready to Guard UMM Students Create Creative Products

Back to announce UMM program which is certainly graduated four years, must work after graduation and must be independent, Rector of University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), Fauzan burned the spirit of students through General Lecture of Creative Economy by the Head of Creative Economic Agency of Republic of Indonesia, Triawan Munaf .
In the opening, Fauzan said that many UMM students already have worked and ready to be a creative economic product. "Lately, there are many UMM students who have creative products," said Fauzan.
In line with Fauzan, Minister of Education and Culture, Muhadjir Effendy also conveyed the same thing. He even asserted that UMM became one of the pioneers of cinema in Malang. Various works and young cinemas are also born from this campus.
"In Malang, UMM is a pioneer of film until Eagle Awards held several times here," said Muhadjir.
Head of Creative Economic Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (Bekraf RI), Triawan Munaf, explained as the second largest contributor of Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Indonesian films must continue to clean up. The effort is mainly done by holding young filmmakers, especially considering that the biggest enthusiasts of Indonesian cinema today are teenagers.
"Young people who are now working in the field of film is very much and their work has begun to be reckoned with," explained the father of Sherina Munaf who is top artist.
On the mat which was held in Hall of BAU UMM, Triawan also conveyed that student have very bigopportunity to take part in the field of creative economy. Even, their existence dominates the creation of creative products today. Besides proud, Triawan also expressed his readiness to support this. "Bekraf is very ready to accompany," said Triawan.
Not just a public lecture, at the end of UMM and Bekraf also implemented MoU to support the program and creative products created by UMM students. (ard)
