As many as 20 alumni of Vocational High School (SMK) will be educated to become a competent mechanical by Bengkel (a place to repair motorcyle) UMM Rinjani University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM). Over the next ten months, those 20 people will be equipped with various skills about mechanical field, especially in repairing of machine. Participants consist of Aceh Province, South Sumatra Province, and East Java Province are following the activities of Rinjani Skill Development Center.
When met during the opening of program on Tuesday, August 15, Instructor Coordinator Ipong Rusdianto, ST explained that the 20 people have been passed through process. In addition, this training program was designed for orphans.
During this training, they will be facilitated with dormitory, accommodation needs, and two-month internship at Bengkel Rinjani UMM. As the proof of having this program, they will be given a certification as an evidence of mastering in mecahnical field expertise.
In addition to mechanics and entrepreneurship training, they will be equipped with religious knowledge, personality, and character. "Hopefully after participating this training, they become people who are qualified in the field of automotive and religion. Someday when they open a business, they become entrepreneurs who are not only competent, but also having taqwa (God-fearing) and tough," said Bengkel Rinjani UMM Head M. Bisri Mustofa when met on the sidelines of the event.
