AFTER selection process and visitation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia entrusted Indonesian Language Unit for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) of University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) as the institution of the Indonesian language and culture service provider for 12 diplomat candidates from five continents through the 12th Promotion to Indonesian Language and Culture for Foreign Diplomats program.

During that time, the candidates of diplomats will learn Indonesian language basic level and Indonesian culture. These achievements had complemented the list of BIPA’s cooperation programs with other ministries, including the Ministry of Education and Culture through the Darmasiswa program, the Ministry of Research and Technology, Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia through the Cooperation of Developing Countries (KNB), and finally from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through that program.
"Choosing UMM to organize (the agenda) has given good rapot for UMM, as well as our challenge to provide the professional and the best services for them," he said. (Naz)
