BPJS Invites UMM Student to be Aware of Health Insurance Urgency

FACULTY Medicine (FK) University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) worked with the Social Security Agency (BPJS) held a guest lecture at and signing a memorandum of understanding with the UMM and clinics BPJS Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah in Malang, Thursday (20/10)
 
Held at UMM Dome Hall, this guest lecture entitled “Peran Dokter dalam Pelayanan Kesehatan Profesional di Klinik Muhammadiyah-Aisyiyah di Era JKN BPJS”. This event was attended by a number of prominent figures, including Director of BPJS Indonesia Republic, Prof. Dr. dr. Fahmi Idris, Kes. as a speaker. It's about 400 people including undergraduate students and student co-ass FK who presented in this guest lecture.
 
Fahmi was deeply appreciated when he lined up to be a guest lecturer. "I think this is a great opportunity to speak in front of medical students, given many things I have to say with all the issues related to BPJS during this time," said Fahmi before delivering the material.
 
In his presentation, Fahmi said that the BPJS brings the concept of social solidarity with the principle of mutual cooperation. One of the methods used, he said, adding that the contribution system. Indonesian citizens who belong financially able will pay dues, while the less able will be borne by the state.
 
"One resident suffered kidney failure," Fahmi pointed out, "If he had dialysis three times a week, 28 times a month, how many costs will be paid. In fact, he only pays BPJS twenty-five thousand per month. Therefore it took 75 healthy people were to escort our brother who is sick. Meanwhile, Dean of the Faculty, dr. Irma Suswati, Kes said that the purpose of this event was as a form of urgency because FK needs graduates who are able to follow the government program.
 
"Government programs should be followed up with the competence and professionalism of FK UMM graduates. So that the prospective doctor is expected to develop services in the community, either through independent practice or social services, "she said.
 
Admittedly, the charitable efforts of Muhammadiyah was quite a lot. However, it is not directly proportional to the number of graduates from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Muhammadiyah in Indonesia. So it can not meet all the clinics owned by Muhammadiyah. "Partnering with BPJS, FK graduates could be placed in the clinics," she explained.
