The books that discuss the thoughts and figures of Abdul Malik Fadjar were relaunched. Two books entitled 'Visi dan Praksis Pengembangan Pendidikan Islam' (Vision and Praxis of Islamic Education Development) and 'Inspiring Lecturer Empirisme Pengembangan Lembaga Pendidikan' (Inspiring Lecturer Empiricism Development of Educational Institutions) were launched during the Ramadan Study Agenda of Pimpinan Wilayah Muhammadiyah (PWM). The review was held on March 16th, 2024, at Umsida Sidoarjo.
The books were launched directly by the Chairman of Pimpinan Pusat (PP) Muhammadiyah, Prof. Dr. Haedar Nashir, M.Si. In addition, the books are also the works that were edited and turned into books after Malik Fadjar passed away in September 2020. Prof. Nazaruddin Malik, M.Si., as Malik Fadjar's son, explained that it all started with a discussion in Mr. Malik's library called Rumah Baca Cerdas (RBC). Then Nazar institutionalized RBC and established the Malik Fadjar Institute.
"We explore Malik's thoughts, including his thoughts on the modernization and renewal of Islamic education in Indonesia. To date, we have published nine books about Malik," added the Rector of Muhammadiyah University of Malang (UMM).

Nazar explained that the first book was actually based on a dissertation by Prof. Dr. M. Idris from IAIN Manado that was submitted to us. Idris felt that his dissertation was written specifically about Malik and got a lot of inspiration from the process. Then, the RBC team edited it from fairly serious writing into a more crisp and easy-to-read book.
"This book is very practical on how to manage schools easily and has a far-reaching vision. This is interesting for friends who manage Muhammadiyah schools," he said.

On this occasion, there was also a second book entitled Inspiring Lecture. The book is purely the work of former IPM chairman Abdullah Mukti M.Pd. He participated on many occasions with Malik Fadjar. The book tells the story of Mukti's experience with Muhammadiyah education leaders and people who closely watched Malik Fadjar. Especially in the effort to encourage Muhammadiyah schools in various regions to advance.
"Hopefully whatever we present to the public through this book, especially for Muhammadiyah cadres, can inspire and become a strength to dedicate ourselves to Muhammadiyah," he concluded. (wil/put)
