Ready to fully commit to realizing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the quality education sector, the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FTTE), University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) prepares 685 Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) (trans: Teacher Professional Education ) graduates in 2023. It was confirmed directly by the Dean of FKIP UMM at the Ngobrol Bareng (Ngobar) (trans: talk together) event with the heads of education offices of The Greater Malang Area on August 1, 2023, at The Sky Rooftop Rayz UMM Hotel.

"We have provided a lot of knowledge and teaching skills for PPG UMM graduates. Not only theory in learning, but also the development of learning media to provision in the implementation of an independent curriculum. In addition, it also strengthens differentiated learning to how to analyze student abilities related to the project that will be given later, " she added.

In the event entitled "Membincang Pendidikan Malang Raya Dalam Mendukung Tercapainya SDGs" (trans: Discussing Education in Greater Malang in Supporting the Achievement of SDGs), the Executive Director of APCE-UNESCO Prof. Dr. Ignasius D. A. Sutapa, M.Sc was also present. He emphasized that Indonesia's SDGs have increased considerably. It is one of the achievements, considering that this increase occurred after the turmoil of the Covid-19 pandemic.
"Our ranking is now 75th in SDGs, last year it was 82nd. We need to be proud of this. Proving that our country's recovery after the pandemic is very fast," she explained.
According to her, the education sector is a focus that must be considered more intensely. It can only run with collaboration between education providers, the government, and the stakeholders. Likewise, Dunia Usaha Dunia Industri (DUDI) (trans: the industrial world) is a special place for improving the skills of Human Resources (HR). They also receive our educational products to the world of work.
On the same occasion, the Head of the Malang City Education Department, Drs. Suwarjono, M.Si, expressed his high appreciation to FKIP UMM for providing discussion space for the Education Office in the Greater Malang Area. Mainly to convey ideas and ideas related to the world of education.
"This is the first time that the Education Offices of Malang City, Batu City, and Malang Regency have been invited by the university to sit in on a chat and discussion. Moreover, UMM is known as the creator of professional teachers," he said.
