Open Registration through Achievement Selection, UMM Provides My UMM Application and UMM New Student Acceptance for New Student Candidates

On the second day of 2018, Tuesday (2/1), University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) opens registration of acceptance for new students of academic year of 2018/2019 through achievement selection. The academic criterion that must be fulfilled by those who want to apply is to have good scores in the first semester till the fifth semester (score minimum is 80). UMM Rector, Fauzan conveyed that non-academic achievement is also one of important points that can support the registrants to be selected. Fauzan said, “We consider both the academic and non-academic achievements”.

Achievement Selection registration will be opened two times. First period is opened on January 2- February 23, 2018, and the second will be opened again on February 26- April 20, 2018. In academic year of 2018-2019, all information about application processes can be seen through android application My UMM and PMB UMM (UMM New Student Acceptance). Fauzan said that these two applications is an innovation that proved UMM is closely related to modern life. He said, “This innovation makes people easier to access the information about UMM and the selection processes without reducing the values of academic”. UMM is getting ready to accept local students and students from abroad by signing international cooperation. Fauzan continued, “We develop various cooperation because now foreign students choose to apply for UMM student acceptance by independent, not through the third party”.

Furthermore, Regular Selection will be opened on March 5 – May 4, 2018 for the first period. The second period will be opened on May 21 – July 2018 and the last period will be opened again on July 23 – August 16, 2018. (lus)
