"Registrars this year are still dominated by East Java," he added.

UMM Rector, Fauzan said, although the number of applicants for Faculty of Medicine has increased, but no additional student quota has been received. "The quota for medicine does not increase, still the same as last year's 150 seats," he said.

To anticipate the fraud, UMM has alerted 50 police personnel from Malang City Police during the exam from 08.00-10.30. Physical examination when already in the room is also done as one of prevention efforts.

As for participants who are late, the committee has provided a special room to take the exam so as not to disturb other participants.

This year, UMM will receive 7,500 new students. The results of this stage selection will be announced on 18 May. For participants who pass can register from 18 to 23 May.
