Dr. M. Isnaini, M.Pd., the head of UMM’s Public Relations, stated that this achievement is a testament to the hard work and intelligence of the Public Relations team, particularly in explaining the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM), the Kampus Putih, sustainable development goals (SDGs), and other initiatives. The preparation was intense and serious, with data collected, organized, and arranged to achieve the best possible results in each category.
Krisna, as he is known, continued that the branding efforts by UMM are based on a well-planned target. In addition to branding Kampus Putih, these efforts support the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program, which is a priority of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology.
“Our team also continuously strives to publish through online and print media. This includes engaging and unique videos on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, and Facebook on the official campus account @ummcampus. Our branding strategy also encompasses the Center of Excellence (CoE) initiatives by UMM and is closely related to the tangible implementation of MBKM with a focus on UMM’s SDGs,” said the Indonesian language education lecturer.

He emphasized that all these efforts would be incomplete without well-organized and accurate reporting. From the data collected, the team can make informed decisions to present the best information about UMM. While this achievement is indeed proud, Krisna hopes it will also serve as a motivation for the Public Relations team to earn other prestigious awards.
“Hopefully, this accomplishment will inspire us to give our best. It should also encourage other institutions to enhance their performance and quality, thus improving higher education in Indonesia,” he concluded. (Wil/Fajr)
