Launching Official Trailer, The Actors of Film “EL” Want to Act in Novel Written by UMM Students

Film “EL” produced by Multivision Plus written by a student of University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), Hidayatul Fajriyah or Luluk HF held a soft launching at the Hall of GKB IV 9^th floor UMM. The actors of film “EL”, Achmad Megantara and Aurelie Moeremans also came to this event. Film “EL” will be aired on May 9^th, 2018. UMM students and all audiences could interact directly with both the actors and the writer of the novel.

Luluk HF is so grateful because Film “EL” is adopted from her novel with the same title. She said, “I am so grateful for being who I am now”.

Luluk’s parent, Aji Zainal Abidin came to this soft launching. He is so proud of his daughter and reminds her to keep studying. Abidin said, “I am so proud of her. Yet, she still has to finish her study”.

This event was attended by 450 participants. As the actor and actress, Megan and Aurelie said that they are so happy coming to UMM because the students actively took part in discussing about film. Megan said, “I am so happy coming here. There are many students who have good qualification to be novelists”.

Mario (the main character in the novel casted by Megan) is a cool boy. Megan said that Mario’s trait is not like his. The storyline and strong character created by Luluk is so interesting. Megan who was casted as Mas Boy in TV serial “Catatan Mas Boy” said, “This novel is so good in describing the characters. Although my trait is different as Mario’s, but I’m impressed by this novel”.

Meanwhile, Aurelie who was born in Belgium said that she only needed four hours to read the novel. She likes the story on it which is unique. She said, “Actually I do not really like to read novel. But, I only need four hours to read this novel because I am interested in the story”.

This soft launching event was the collaboration between Student Activity Unit (UKM) Cinematography Study Group University of Muhammadiyah Malang (KINE Klub UMM) and Multivison Productions (MVP Indonesia). There was also a launching of trailer film “EL” in the event. (lus)
