"UMM is built by big ideals so that it invites students to dream big too," said Prof. Dr. HA. Malik Fadjar, M.Sc. when filling out the recitation, Thursday (3/14), in the presence of graduate students. He explained how UMM stood on bamboo forests. The community does not believe that land like this can be transformed into a big university like today.

The member of the Advisory Council of the President of the Republic of Indonesia said that UMM had become a fertile ground for his students to dream and participate in building the nation. He asserted UMM Postgraduate students must also have aspirations. "Hang your dreams as high as the sky, if you fall, you will fall among the stars," he exclaimed quoting Bung Karno's words.

The Current development, mentioned the man who is also the Chair of the UMM Daily Supervisory Board, drove so fast. So that human needed change. While joking Malik said, today's basic human needs were full smartphone batteries. Followed by participants’ laughter. "Actually, we don't have a mobile phone that is not bad, we don't have a car or not, as long as we have aspirations," he said firmly.
