Regarding the invitation of the former UMM rector, UMM Public Relations Director, Dr. M. Isnaini, explained that Prof. Fauzan is UMM's Professor of Education. The invitation seems inseparable from his long record of contribution in education during his two periods as the chancellor of the White Campus. Some of his programs include the Center of Excellence (CoE) and the Center for Future Work (CFW), which connect students and industry. Generating superior human resources that suit the needs of society.
"Prof. Fauzan has also successfully run the Professor Penggerak Pembangunan Masyarakat (P3M) program, which runs in various regions. The program empowers experts from UMM to provide mentorship in direct contributions to the community. Especially in the food industry, which is in accordance with Mr. Prabowo's plans to maintain food security. I think the program that Prof. Fauzan has run during his time as chancellor is very compatible with the program promoted by Prabowo,” said Krisna, his nickname.
According to Prabowo, this selection process has been conducted for a long time. He had studied the names that would join his cabinet long before they were invited to Kertanegara. He has conducted monitoring, discussion, and selection in order to determine the best candidate. “They have also expressed their willingness to help me,” said Prabowo to the media.
