INSTITUTE OF STUDENTS Education Personnel Muhammadiyah Universities (LPTK PTM) held a Pre-position Workshop on Teacher Professional Education (PPG) on Tuesday-Wednesday (31 / 10-01 / 11) at UMM Inn Hotel Hall, Malang. This activity was cooperated with LPTK PTM and Faculty of Teacher Training and Education University of Muhammadiyah Malang (FKIP UMM).
The event was attended by representatives of several Muhammadiyah Universities (PTM), including University of Prof Dr Hamka (UHAMKA), University of Muhammadiyah Jakarta (UMJ), University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto (UMP), University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY), University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS), STKIP Muhammadiyah Sorong, and University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM).
This activity was opened by Head of ALPTK PTM, Prof Harun Joko Prayitno. In his speech, Harun explained that this activity is expected to be one of the first steps for PTM in Indonesia to be able to produce qualified human resources teachers of PPG and in accordance with the field needs.
"The series of activities that you will follow for two days is expected to harmonize coordination and perception to improve the quality of PPG graduates," said Harun.
The two-day activities will discuss some of the things that will be shared by all the PTM presented, including learning and evaluation system, curriculum formation, Semester Learning Plan (RPS) and Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), Program Experience system Field (PPL), increasing the involvement of tutor teachers, and efforts to improve pedagogical quality of tutor teachers.
At the end of this activity, it is expected to produce an official format that will be used by all PTM in Indonesia. (ard)
