Student of Communication Science University of Muhammadiyah Malang held a workshop on food photography at sukodono in Gersik, Sunday (23/12). Bretya Pati Anoraga, the owner of @takeafood_foodphotography , became the speaker in this event.
The workshop participants were from several communities and bloggers in Gersik who practised photo of traditional food. Aan, as he was called, planned to make a big revolution in the world of food photography ecosystems. That is to invite young photographers who have an interest in the activity to join.
Aan shared basic tips for photographing traditional Indonesian food, specifically Gresik's special food. According to him, a food photographer needs a 'story' so that the photo looks more alive. In addition, to make the foods have an interesting appearance, a photographer must be able to adjust the lighting system.
Izdihar Fakhriyah, the chief executive of this program, stated that one of the purposes of this program prepared participants, especially young people from the Sukodono village in facing the Discover Gresik program.
"Gresik wants not only to be known as an Industrial City but also as typical food like pudhak, otak otak, jenang ayas and so on," explained the Communication Science student the University of Muhammadiyah Malang.
M. Ajib, one of the participants said that many new things were gained from this workshop especially for ordinary people. "The program inspires and educates us who are new to food photography," said the member of the Sukodono Youth Organization.
A food photography workshop was held as part of the Mega Discover Gresik project. That was a program for designing 5 regions became a destination with social benefits that was integrated through the practicum of specialization in Public Relations at Communication Science Study Program University of Muhammadiyah Malang
Kramat Inggil Was through the concept of Eco Green Village, Kemuteran Village was through the concept of Night Market, Kroman Village through was the concept of Port Tourism, Penelingan Village was through the concept of Cultural and Heritage, and Sukodono Village was through the concept of Culinary Center.
