From 2nd until 5th September 2019, 7611 University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) new students have attended the series of activities of New Students Introduction to Study (Pesmaba). Along with that, on Thursday (5/9), they officially became the part of UMM Jas Merah Kampus Putih Generation.
UMM Rector, Dr. Fauzan, M.Pd. said, after Pesmaba, it was each student's turn to prepare themselves to bea real student. Namely by dreaming of becoming a successful person with student status, especially successful after becoming a student.
"Hopefully the 2019 students will continue the tradition of achieving achievements by the UMM academic community. Many achievements have been carved by UMM students. In every year, no less than six hundred types of achievements," said Fauzan at the Dome Hall of UMM, Thursday (5/9).

All of you present today, who have just participated in the 2019 Pesmaba activity, are being introduced and prepared so that you are able to follow in the footsteps of your seniors. "Of course my hope is that you must exceed the achievements of your senior," said Fauzan.
On various occasions Rector Fauzan also often advised, the three-year and a half to four-year study period is not that long. That is the moment of a great opportunity for students to prepare themselves to begreat people and to be useful people in the future.
"Once again we hope, all of you will learn seriously. Dream big, throw away complaining and unproductive reasons. Never back down, don’t let that bad mentality live in your UMM students minds, hearts, and souls," he said.

UMM wants to deliver its students to become successful people. Therefore, the students must join the prepared organizations in the UMM campus. "Both intra organizations and other student activity units,you can choose. From the university until the department level," he explained.
The various student organizations approximately 120 units were actually the facilities specifically for UMM students. "So that you can become leaders. Not only from oneway, but from various different ways. Until finally, you became a real leader," he said.
“Look at the future and be prepared to be a successful person with students status, moreover after graduated. Students Today, Leaders Tomorrow!” said Rector Fauzan in front of 7611 UMM students consist of 93 foreign students from 24 different countries. (joh)
