In the category of Arabic poetry reading competition. The competition was organized by the University of Al-Azhar Indonesia with the final competition held on last Sunday (20/12).
Zulfa, his nickname, said that he had been fond of reading poetry since he was young. However, usually, Zulfa only reads poetry in the Student Activity Unit (UKM) which he participated in. The MARZABI competition was the first national-level poetry competition that he participated in. From the three choices of Poetry provided by the committee, he chose Mahmoud Darwish's work entitled The Beauty of Love.

The youngest of two siblings also said that preparation for the competition took quite a short time, namely one week. In one week, Zulfa must understand and interpret poetry, build expressions, take videos, and then edit them, then submit videos to the committee.
"The process of understanding poetry and building expressions takes the longest. I took the video only a few hours from the deadline for collection. I was very overwhelmed because it coincided with other UKM activities. The video file size is also large so the video rendering process takes a long time. Fortunately, I can collect videos twenty minutes before the collection process closes, ”continued the student born in Bondowoso.

With this short preparation, Zulfa did not think that he could win first place. "I am very grateful because I can make the study program and campus proud through this competition.
