The University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) held another Ramadan Ceria program. This time, the UMM team, together with the Kapal Garden Hotel team, visited and had suhoor with disability friends at the Gerakan untuk Kesejahteraan Tuna Ruli Indonesia (Gerkatin). In addition, the agenda that was held on March 21st in the Soekarno Hatta area also provided fun games, the disaster management material by Mahasiswa Relawan Siaga Bencana (Maharesigana) UMM, and making content together.
The Chairperson of the Deaf Community of Malang City, Muhammad Hasanuddin, S.Par., was happy to be visited by UMM, the White Campus. He also appreciated the disaster management material provided. It cannot be separated from the perplexity of friends with disabilities when a disaster occurs, such as an earthquake. He also finds that it is difficult to inform friends with disabilities to immediately seek a safe place if an earthquake occurs. So, the presence of UMM provides useful new insights.
"We also learned that it is very important to know about assembly points when a disaster occurs. So that friends can also immediately go to the assembly point without confusion," he explains.
Furthermore, he was also happy to see friends with disabilities enthusiastically participating in various fun games from UMM. He hopes that the friendship that has been established can continue to be intertwined. Not only by having sahur together, but also with various other activities.
On the other hand, the coordinator from UMM, Silvia Ramadhani, said that Ramadan Ceria through sahur together has been implemented since the beginning of Ramadan at several locations in Malang. This program will also continue until the end of Ramadan. "Yesterday we visited and had sahur with the residents of Kampung Warna Warni Jodipan, collaborated with the street artists, had iftar in the Blimbing area, and others. Hopefully this can provide benefits and also become a syiar to the wider community," he added.

In addition, there are various menus that are also served by the Kapal Garden UMM Hotel in this activity. Starting with chicken curry, vegetables, side dishes, and others. As well as fun games and exciting storytelling sessions with Indonesian sign language.
The activity is also aligned with the explanation from the Rector of UMM, Prof. Dr. Nazaruddin Malik, M.Si, who emphasized social and environmental piety. That is how a person can maximize their potential to share and spread benefits to others. This is also what the UMM White Campus does through various programs and is conducted in many locations.
