DREAM of Rizkyka Nanda Kurnia, a student of the D-III Financial Banking Study Program at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), has been cultivating her to become a Princess of Indonesia for a long time. Dara is 19 years old lady from Putukrejo Village, Kalipare District, Malang Regency has always wanted to be the star of the Indonesian beauty contest from a young age. One more step, her dream will come true. Because of this, recently she achieved by being crowned as The Winner of the Putri Hijab East Java 2020.
In December 2020, Rizkyka will represent East Java Province in the grand final of the National Hijab Ambassador which will be held in Bandung, West Java. “Initially, I never thought that I would be chosen as Hijab Putri East Java, because this is my first experience and first achievement. What I got is a good start for me and this is one of my dreams to become a princess when I was young, ”said Rizkyka.
In early November, an online audition was held because it was still in a pandemic condition. Auditions consist of written tests and interviews covering personality, experience, and religion. Every day she confessed that she studied, prayed, and put her trust in God. She once almost gave up, because she felt not worthy and even underestimated. But Allah gives strength and other will. She also passed the top 10 and made her get up and excited about audition.

After being declared as The Winner Putri Hijab East Java, it was not without obstacles. Because this event is held by a private party, part of the accommodation costs to advance to the final round are self-funded by the winners. Rizkyka was given 3 days only to pay it off. However, she believes, behind difficulties there is always a way. Unexpectedly, the hijab selling business initiated by Rizkyka and her mother actually became a solution to the problem. She can cover the cost of the accommodation.
"Alhamdulillah, D-1 payment was closed. I got a fortune and my hijab business was selling well. Truly Allah is a greater listener and most mercifull. I am very grateful, touched, and happy. It is true that the miracle of Allah cannot be doubted and will definitely happen. If we have the desire. So we have to be sincere and spiritual, try and pray to Allah SWT. When we sincerely ask to Allah, Insyaallah, Allah will certainly facilitate all our affairs, " she said.

She advised to everyone who wanted to achieve their dreams never to be afraid to get out of their comfort zone and try new things. Eliminate any sense of insecure if it has been determined. Allah SWT does not see beautiful, smart, or rich. If we are underestimated by people, listen, take the positive side. When other people look down on you, they just don't know how our real struggle is. Who knows only us and Allah, then leave everything to Allah SWT.
