EXHIBITION of "Around Europe in One Day" organized by the International Relations Office (IRO) University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), Monday (19/12) as if was truly invited visitors went around Europe. Somehow, it not also provided information about the scholarship and culture, but in every booth also presented traditional foods of each country, such as Arroz Doce or sweet rice which was Portugal typical.
Visitors were also invited to use the attributes of Portugal national football players, it was completed with the mask of Cristiano Ronaldo who was the most favorite player. Event was held at the court of the Central Library UMM Campus III. This activity at least was followed by a number of countries in Europe, they were from Ukraine, Romania, Spain, Portugal, Poland and Slavonia.
"There are many foreigners who learn and teach at UMM. We already learned here for long and already knew a lot about Indonesia. We think it is also better if Indonesia know about our country, "said Tania, a student from Ukraine who are so fluent in speak Indonesian language.
Besides learning Indonesian, Tania also joined Learn and Teach internship program where she had the opportunity to teach microeconomics at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UMM. Interestingly, Tania admitted that she has never met someone from Ukraine. "Just at UMM, I can be reunited with my friend who come from North Ukraine, Central Ukraine and West Ukraine," she concluded. (Acs / han)
