Three People Attended Graduation Give Advise to UMM Scholars To Promote Nation

The 82nd graduation of University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) on Saturday (26/11) at UMM Dome was attended by the presence of three of the nation namely the State Secretary, Prof Dr Pratikno MSocSc, Minister of Education and Culture, Prof Dr Muhadjir Effendy MAP, and a member of the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres), Prof HA Malik Fajar MSc.

 

In front of 1,111 graduates, UMM Rector, Fauzan, pinned almamater jacket to Mensesneg Pratikno as a symbol of a freeman of UMM, accompanied by Malik Fajar and Muhadjir Effendy, which presented as the chairman and vice supervisor of UMM.

 

In a scientific oration, Pratikno congratulated to UMM which has produced many scholars, at once advised to the graduates in order will be able to contribute to the advancement of the nation. "I am honored to be confirmed as an honorary citizen of UMM," said the former rector of the University of Gadjah Mada (UGM).

Pratikno hoped that UMM culture as an private university can motivate the graduates to play an important role in the global area, such as an entrepreneur. In this graduation event, the best graduates was won by Rohil Salsabiila of Food Science and Technology with a GPA of 3.97 and achieved the best D3 was Elailatul Fitria of Finance and Banking with a GPA of 3.84.
