| The leaders of posgradute program of UMM and Ankara University |
Postgraduate program University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) has a mission to establish international networking cooperation. 11 people who are the Head of study programs and the leaders of Postgraduate program flew to Turkey to visit Ankara University which is one of the Best Three Universities in the country. The Vice Dean III of Postgraduate program UMM said, “Ankara University is one of the best three universities in Turkey. That is why we go there”. UMM has 10 study programs which are the same as Ankara University has (there are 9 study programs in Ankara University).
Furthermore, Wahyudi said, “We will sign the MoU with Ankara University next month”. There are three reasons why UMM wants to run cooperation with Ankara University. First, Ankara University has ASEAN study program. The university is looking for institutions in Indonesia that has Indonesian Language Course. Second, Ankara University is one of Erasmus+ members. They welcome UMM students to study in their university. Third, Ankara University will run student exchange program (they call it as incoming student program). They welcome professors and postgraduate students of UMM to study at Ankara University by free. On the other hand, UMM also welcomes postgraduate students of Ankara University to study at UMM. Wahyudi said, “This program will be run as soon as possible”. (lus)
