UMM Expands Cooperation with Two Sweden Universities

University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) expands its international partnerships networking with two major universities in Sweden, Stockholm University and Uppsala University. 22 lecturers and UMM leaders attended two campuses for academic dialogue at the same time through visiting during 7 days, 10 October to 17 October 2016.
 
UMM and Uppsala University previously has had its cooperation through Erasmus Mundus program. In the future, according to Vice Rector II UMM, Dr Nazaruddin Malik MSI, the cooperation will be expanded through the exchange students and lecturers program.
 
On a visit chaired by Vice Rector II and followed by all the Vice Dean II of all faculties, UMM and two Sweden universities held a discussion on financial management and human resources.
 
It was an agreement for cooperationon continuation related to the exchange students and lecturers program within the scope of the Erasmus Mundus Plus. In addition, cooperation is also included in the field of research and international seminars. "Seminars and discussions will be built as well as the theme of Islamic studies. Coverage of Islam became warm conversation lately, "said representatives of the International Relations UMM, Dr. Rinjani Bonavidi MEd.
 
 
"Both the universities actually has competence in financial management and internal resources in the university. Both universities are lots of providing welfare for staff and faculty, so that faculty and staff feel at home continue to work for the university, "said Rinjani more.
 
As a follow up of the visit, said Rinjani, will be held teacher training, staff exchange, as well as internships faculty. "It will be a professors who teach at UMM from the two universities," she concluded. (Jal / han)
