The Team from University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) managed to win 2 number of racesin final of the National Unmanned Fast Boats Competition (KKCTBN) 2020, 5-7 November 2020. The White Campus represented by Mekatronic Team 1 and 2each of them achieved the 2nd place in the Category of Prototype Performance of Fuel Engine Remote Control (FERC) and Electric Remote Control (ERC) Vessel Prototypes, Best Prototypepredicate in FERC boat and Mekatronics had gained 1st Runner-Up in the favorite team category.
Vice Rector I UMM, Prof. Dr. Syamsul Arifin, M.Si. in his speech congratulated all the winners who have competitively and sportsmanlikely participated in the competition. Despite for all the limited condition in the midst of Covid-19, he claimed to be satisfied with the second time at UMM, an event that is the prestigious agenda of the National Achievement Center of the Ministry of Education of the IndonesiaRepublic was held.

"Competitions such as KKCTBN will have a very positive impact on the participants. In the future, it will be easier for them to get a job and earn a higher income. Because this kind of event will greatly help students' mobility in the future. Of course we would be happy if UMM will beselected for the third time as host," syamsul said.

On the other hand, the Secretary of LLDikti Region VII East Java, Dr. Widyo Winarso, M.Pd. who represents the National Achievement Center of the Ministry of Education of the Indonesia Republic closed symbolally the KKCTBN which has been held 7 times. Every year, the enthusiasm for participation increases. Personally, Widyo is proud, many of his co-students at LLDikti East Java who entered the final round.
"Thank you to UMM for its volunteering to host KKCTBN 2020. Even called Prof. Syamsul, claimed to want to host for the third time. We welcome this offer. Because indeed, not all campuses have special characteristics (have a fast boat race in the form of an in-campus lake, red.) like UMM," he said at rayz hotel UMM. (nain/can)
