There were so many ways that adults could communicate with the world of children. Among them through Games, Fairytale and Ventriloquist or the art of talking without moving the lips, one of them with a doll media. This was also done by the Thursday Reading (KaCa) University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) car team this time.
"Children are usually shy, but how can they not be shy and have more expression and make friends with the world of imagination by storytelling and Ventriloquist. This method is a form of communication or a bridge so that the adults can mingle with children, "said Indah Rahayuning Tyas or familiarly called Kak Tyas with the KaCa car team when visiting Pulosari children, Blimbing District, Malang.
Tyas also continued that children would be able to fuse with adults when the adults were able to make them comfortable.
Lutfhi Badhilah also invited the children to play the games Wind and Cing Ciripit to foster self-confidence, trained the focus and team cohesiveness. After that, the children were invited to read books in the KaCa UMM car to improve their literacy.
This time, the KaCa UMM car with Save Street Child Malang (SSCM) and Swayanaka (Kindergarten Student) Malang, was able to entertain as many as 27 children with various activities that were useful in efforts to improve literacy.

"SSCM has held activities here every Saturday, and this is one of the few places initiated by SSCM. Because we do not want the children here, especially those who drop out of school, who get off the streets like ngamen and nyepe '(which help regulate traffic) be left behind with the children who attend school, "explained Yudhono Witanto as SSCM General Coordinator.
This was in line with the spirit of literacy that carried the UMM KaCa Car. "Through this activity, it is expected that the children will be able to develop themselves and train their self-confidence and can increase their literacy," said Lutfi Badhilah as the coordinator of KaCa Car UMM, Saturday (3/14).
