According to him, this program is a tangible response to the massive developments in the world. The event marked UMM's 114th graduation ceremony.

He mentioned that the vision of becoming a Center for Future Work is commendable. It's not just empty talk, but the results can already be felt through programs and collaborations with the Business and Industrial World (DUDI) stakeholders. During the occasion, Widodo also highlighted several keys to facing the expansive world, including creativity and innovative solutions. Looking ahead, there will be 83 million job losses and only 69 million new job opportunities. There is a significant gap between lost and new job positions.
"Currently, many fields can be automated, posing challenges to all of you. Jobs that are automated are usually monotonous and simple, so you must master sectors that are creative and innovative. In those sectors, technology won't easily replace you," he advised.
Also present was Indonesia's Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture, Prof. Dr. Muhadjir Effendy, M.A.P. He mentioned that graduation is not the end but the beginning of a more challenging process.
"I quote from Surah Al-Insyirah, Verse 7: 'So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship].' You must firmly adhere to this. You all must continue to learn, work, and innovate even more. I believe you can do it. It's evident from your optimistic faces as you face the future," he emphasized.

Meanwhile, UMM Rector Prof. Dr. Nazaruddin Malik, SE., M.Si., expressed pride in UMM being a second home to the graduates who have completed their studies. UMM has always strived to provide the best preparation for all graduates to face their futures.
He noted that in life, physical things can be bought, but dedication, service, and loyalty cannot be bought with anything, nor can their value be measured. This is also a significant hope from UMM to its alumni, to pay attention to these invaluable aspects. (Faq/Wil/Fajr)
