Common FAQ: Visiting UMM

       

        1. Q : Can public visit UMM?

             A : Yes, UMM campus is open for those who want to visit for good purpose.

 

2.  Q : What are visits that are received by UMM? 

      A : Institution or individual can visit UMM for comparative study, or only look around for scientific program.

         

 

3.  Q : How is the procedure and requirement to visit UMM?

      A : The people who want to visit UMM can propose a letter addressed to the Rector. Then, wait for reply whether it is received or

          not. If the visit is received, it can be confirmed to Public Relations Unit and Precedence of UMM for further coordination.

 

4.  Q : Is there any special rule  related to visit at UMM?

      A : Yes, all visitors must obey all rules in the campus.

 

5.  Q : Is there any cost to visit UMM?

      A : To visit UMM, there is no cost, but UMM doesn't provide any cost related to transportation, accomodation, consumption, and soon.

 

6.  Q : What are the objects which can be visited?

      A : The objects which will be visited is closely related to the purpose of the visitors themselves.

            Some important objects that can be visited such as: laboratory, library, PLTMH and biogas, UMM Dome, IPTEKS Exhibition Center,  

             AR Fachruddin Mosque, Greenhouse, Mushroom Production Unit, BKMA, BEJ Corner, Biotechnology Center, and soon.

 

7.  Q : What are the vehicles that are allowed in the campus?

      A : The vehicles that are allowed in the campus are: motorcycle, station wagon, sedan, minibus, bus, and helicopter. 

 

8.  Q : What is the office which handles visit? 

      A : The office which can be called is Public Relations Unit and Precedence of University of Muhammadiyah Malang, Jl. Raya Tlogomas

10. Q : Are all guests can use hotspot facility?

       A : Not all guests can use the facilty of wifi (hotspot),but only the guests who get recommendation from public relations and

           precedence or the head of certain unit that is visited. 

 

11. Q : How can the guest use hotspot facility?

       A : The guest can ask username and password to Public Relations or the Head of Unit that is visited, next ask it to Infokom of UMM.

 

 

12. Q : Is the use of hotspot in the campus as a guest compulsory to pay?

       A : The use of hotspot facility in the campus is free of charge.
