Researches are not dominated by the lecturers only, but big chances are also given to the students.

There are many types of researches done by the students:

1. Research for Final Project with a certain credit hours,

2. Researches funded by General Directorate of University (for example, Students' Creativity Program),

3. Institutional researches funded by UMM,

4. Independent researches, and

5. Researches for subject assessment.

Various researches training activities are often held by departments, Research Bureau, and also General Directorate of University. It all is aimed to improve students' researching capability. It is hoped that the students can be better in doing research.
