University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) has more than 200,000 book collections spread across four large libraries. The Central Library is located on Campus III and consists of three floors. Other libraries are located in UMM Campus 1, Campus 3, and AR Fachruddin Mosque at UMM Campus 3.
The central library is facilitated by several corners. Those are Muhammadiyah Corner, Mandiri Corner, Jakob Oetama Corner, America Corner, China Corner, Thailand Corner, India Corner to Aussie Corner.
UMM Library is also provided with Library Automatic Service (LASer). This Automatic Application System makes it easy for users to quickly search for library materials or information owned by UMM libraries using the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC).
In 2020, the UMM library became the favourite library at the 2020 Java East Academic Librarian Awards. This achievement relates to any innovations that were applied. One of them is developing one of the top services in library services in the era of distance education. This innovation aims to make it easier for students and lecturers to access books and literacy during this COVID 19 outbreaks.
