AS reflection of public services in the health sector over the last year, the Institute of Culture (LK) University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) held a multidisciplinary study on Wednesday (21/12). The theme of this study was "Culture of Public Services in the Health Sector".
Two professionals were presented on this activity. They were Head of Health Services Management Unit BPJS Malang, dr H Munaqib MM AAAK, and lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine UMM, Dr. Gita Sekar Prihanti MPd Ked.
This was not the first time of presenting BPJS UMM as a resource, because the dynamics of health sector continued moving forward from year to year. Several years ago, Indonesia often still used traditional payment method for financing health checks, both for the duty doctor, medicine or health facilities. Now, the system had been turned into a model of underwriting. Thus, although it had been 2 years since the last 2014, the socialization of health services by BPJS was still viable done by UMM.
In his presentation, Munaqib reviewed that, BPJS had three basis, 5 goals and 9 principles. Various conversations that often talked related to BPJS service process was discussed thoroughly. The important thing was that not all kinds of health problems became BPJS insurance.
"There are some things that are not a guarantee of BPJS, such as health service done without procedures, health facilities that do not cooperate with BPJS, or health system which has secured by accident insurance program which is most often missed, "said Munaqib.
Head of LK UMM, Dr. Daroe Iswatiningsih MSi stated that, the theme of public services related to health was not a coincidence. This monthly agenda already scheduled a year in advance, so that the themes discussed was already arranged for long.
"This is a multidisciplinary discussion of all twelve in this year, because it became a monthly agenda. The aim is to increase knowledge in various fields of science, and to all elements in UMM. While the theme of health service was deemed interesting to study as a science and knowledge either to their function as part of the cultural aspects, "explained Daroe.
This event was attended by all structural in UMM, employees, Aisyiyah representatives, as well as UMM students. (Ich / han)
