Muhammad Rajab, an alumnus of the Islamic Education Study Program of the Faculty of Islamic Religion (FIR), University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) class of 2007. Currently, he is successfully pursuing a career as a Director of Education at Thursina International Islamic Boarding School. He is responsible for providing quality education to students in accordance with international standards.
During his study, Rajab said that he was not only active in class. He was also active in various internal activities, ranging from student organizations, Muhammadiyah autonomous organizations, to Student Activity Units. He admitted that the formal and in-formal education formula on campus is very complete so that it can sharpen and strengthen his skills.

"Apart from the fact that the curriculum in PAI is very good, the theory and practical knowledge are also presented in it. I am also active in the Ikatan Mahasiswa Muhammadiyah (IMM) (trans: Muhammadiyah Student Association), Student Activity Unit Bestari, and have also been part of a part-timer in UMM Public Relations as an Arabic translator. The combination strengthened my skills, from communication to teamwork," he said.
According to him, teaching is a charity investment, and he believes that the knowledge shared with students will benefit the students in the long term. That is the principle that he has always upheld from the college bench until now. In addition, he also considers that teaching is not just a transfer of knowledge but also forming a better and more advanced generation.
"I am constantly striving to innovate in the world of education until I am currently trusted as the director of education at Thursina IIBS. It cannot be separated from my provision while being part of the red-coat white campus. There are so many facilities provided by the campus for its students to sharpen their interests and talents, "he said.

In addition, he also emphasized to all UMM students to take advantage of complete campus facilities. A pro-active attitude must be had in order to be able to maximize these facilities to improve their interests and talents. He advised that a knowledgeable person is actually the result of someone who has to pursue and try to get knowledge.
"Do not ever hesitate to get out of your comfort zone, try new things, and be consistent with the decisions you make. Never wait to be given first, but you must run to immediately take what you want," he advised. (ri/faq/put)
