Although they are still in second semester, they have to sharpen their creativities. They are taught how to see business opportunities and do market observation to identify and compare between traditional market and modern market. Dendy Purwedi, one of Agribusiness students 2017, said, “We are asked to find and idea of new business opportunity, then we sell our own product”.
Today, Tuesday (5/6), Agribusiness Department held Cheap Bazaar Ramadhan1439 Hijriyah in front of Biology Laboratory. There were four classes that opened stands selling various products, such as lumpia, dates, coffee, crackers, clothes, and accessories.
Many products were sold out, such as perfume and snacks. One of bazaar participants, Rafiudin Fahri felt that the visitors enthusiastically come to the stands. Rafiudin eagerly sold various kinds of coffee such as Arabica (sour taste), Robusta (bitter taste), and excelsa (fruit flavor taste). When he was asked about the making process to become a ready-to-sell packaging,he answered, “I run a small business. All the processes to make coffee are done by my brother. We also are in partnership with coffee farmer”. He admitted that he seriously runs his business. He successfully distributes his product to 15 cafes in Malang. “I distribute it to 15 cafes in Malang”. (lus)
