Unstable Nation, Muhammadiyah Chairman Haedar Nashir’s Advices

MUHAMMADIYAH  Central Executive Board (PP) Chairman Dr. H. Haedar Nashir, M.Si has delivered his concerns about this nation, according to the terms of  Haedar, it has lost its stateman perspective. So the nation continued to experience endless contradictions.

It has been delivered by Haidar in front of members of civitas academica University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) on the theme '2017 Post Tanwir General Islamic Lecture' at  auditorium of UMM on Saturday (8/4).

Instability of life nation that happening lately, Haedar rated that it caused by materials and power had dominated  the minds of the authorities. Haedar said that they had not follow the principles of value noble ​​of both nation and state. So then, to block all that bad things, Haedar told to all attendees to always take care of idealism.

Furthermore, Haedar also invited to the entire member of civitas academica to sharpen and strengthen Islamic values ​​in order to have a comprehensive Islamic views. No less important, Haedar also stressed out  that the importance of building the good integrity and identity.

"The challenge of new generation that lives in a high mobility requires every person to be able to face variety of temptations. Thus, establishing  of integrity and identity can be started from maintaining integrity in each household," he explained.

Haidar also encouraged the audience to achieve success as high as possible in order  the progressive person could be realized. However, he cautioned to keep the basic values ​​of virtue, truth, morality, and ethics.

Lastly, Haedar told to the entire member of civitas academica to keep contributing  so UMM will be much bigger and always having a strategic role for the usefulness of people and nation. (Naz)
